Universal, Geneve, a stainless steel "Tri Compax" wrist chronograph, ref. 22297-2, 17 jewels cal. 281, manual winding nickel plate movement with lever escapement, in a stainless steel case, the luminous arrow marker silvered dial with minute and hour registers, constant seconds, triple date and phases of the moon, gilt, luminous dauphine hands, serial #1633334, 34mm, c1955.
CONDITION:
CASE: Minor marks and scratches; Plastic crystal. DIAL: Faint marks and spotting; May be restored. HANDS: Spots of oxide; Date indicator repainted. MOVEMENT PLATES: A few minor marks; A few scattered specks of oxide. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks). COMPLICATION FUNCTION: Functions properly. A very nice example.
